We support low-income first-time mothers in New York City.
The New York City Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) program pairs nurses with first-time mothers, to offer health advice, support, and encouragement, from the mother's pregnancy through her baby's 2nd birthday. NFP promotes healthy pregnancies, caring and responsible parenting, and maternal self-sufficiency.
NFP is proven to yield dramatic improvements for a range of well-being indicators, for participating mothers and their children. Its results are life-changing and help to break the cycle of poverty.
Friends of New York City Nurse-Family Partnership was founded in 2015 to raise funds to supplement this important program.
